There are many reasons why your company/organization should have a Digital Marketing Strategy. If you don’t have a clear direction you are going to waste your time and money. It is very clear to see that having an online presence is essential for any modern business. Customers are now audiences online. 

  1. Companies that don’t have a clear strategic goals as to what they want to achieve online. Whether it be gaining new customers or building deeper relationships with existing ones. If you are wandering around with no clear goals, you will be wasting resources.
  2. Have you thought about your competition? If you have no clearly defined strategies, you can bet that your competition has one. They will eat you up for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  3. If you don’t have a proper digital marketing strategy how can you expect to services customers/potential customers. If there is no plan in place to respond to complaints or issues, you will flounder. You need to know what people are thinking about your business. Online users can help you identify your weak points.
  4. Even if you have sufficient resources and staff, you will be wasting your time. Do you have clear goals on what you want to obtain on Facebook, Twitter, Google AdWords, Instagram, the list goes on and on.
  5. You will be left behind when it comes to keeping up with the trends. If you look at brands like Google, Zappos, Lululemon and Dell they are all dynamic. They try new approaches to gain or keep their online presence relevant and engaging to audiences.
