Go big by staying home: Local SEO

Search engines tend to do a good job of notifying customers of their proximity to local businesses. So, local SEO allows you to gain an introductory understanding of SEO as a whole, and gain skills you can use to grow your digital marketing reach.

This will put your business on the digital map, showing searchers information about your business when they search. Think of it as a digital version of what you could put up in your shop window for passersby’s. Info such as location, a brief description of services or business hours are a few examples. While you’re in the driver’s seat with the info on the page, customers can leave reviews. Proving quality customer service, then, is a facet of local SEO as it will inspire customers to leave positive reviews.
