New Instagram Clickable Ads

If you haven’t already noticed, but Instagram has started to use carousel ads on their network. This is meant to be a new way for brands to share more of their images with people who are already interested in their posts. 

The way this works is that when the ad appears people have the option to swipe left to see additional images. This is great for marketers because not only can you show more images to people, you can also direct them towards a link of your choosing.

Instagram is about telling stories using images. Carousel ads are a great option because they are interactive and compelling. Marketers will be able to inspire users to learn more about their brand and maybe create worthwhile results for a business or organization.

This addition to Instagram doesn’t hinder the user experience of the app. If someone doesn’t want to see more about the ad, they can just keep scrolling past them in their feed.

We find this an interesting development that could help brands that are currently using Instagram. Do you own a retail store? Are you a photographer? Do you have your own hair salon? We think that utilizing these ads along with your original and engaging content could boost your awareness online. Instagram is a great way to get people interested in your brand and hopefully get them using your services.
