Are you segmenting your Pay Per Click accounts to much? It is a well known fact that to ensure your online marketing campaigns are functioning properly, you need to make sure you are segmenting your keywords and ads in smart groupings. But if you take it too far you will be negatively affected. You need to think of how consumers will be searching your products and not get too granular. 

Let’s say you are a owner of a farm that boards horses of all ages. You keep young horses together for engagement and growth and you keep elderly horses in a different corner that is more peaceful and quite. You are advertising via Google AdWords to help people find your services when they search online.

It can also be segmented further to include both horse size and boarding length.

If you get too granular your ads will stop showing because users don’t search for that particular term. Do you really think that someone will be that specific for their search.
