Wednesday, July 8th, 2015

One of the biggest problems with the Internet is the issue around privacy. Nowadays so much information is available online, that the idea of privacy is extremely laughable. You may think your information is private, but it isn’t. Imagine what a lifetime worth of emails could tell about yourself?

Most email providers have security features. It is pretty standard for them to send you notifications when you account is being attempted to compromised from different IP addresses.

It is good to have a password, but make it is something that isn’t really guessable. It should contain a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters; numbers; and/or special characters such as %, $ and +.

Andy Yen gives a great Ted Talk on this subject. Encryption emails are a great way to ensure that your emails are protected and your information. The ability to control you data is something that has left our control, actually it has never been in our control. We have thoughts around privacy as well. Have you read our post on website security for online shopping. What are your thoughts on online security?
